Why We Do What We Do.
We believe every dog deserves the best possible chance at the life they were meant to live.
In 2025, 5.8 million dogs & cats entered shelters & rescues across the United States and over half a million animals were reported euthanized*.
But the statistics end there. They don't account for the forgotten animals still wandering the streets, trapped in abusive homes, or surviving in heartbreaking conditions; lives that are rarely counted, but matter just as much.

Chrissy, Founder and Executive Director of Wilder Souls Rescue, has dedicated more than 20 years to saving the lives of dogs in need. Driven by compassion and an unwavering commitment to animal welfare, she founded Wilder Souls Rescue to give every dog the opportunity for a safe, loving future. Her passion, leadership, and tireless advocacy continue to inspire the rescue's mission and the community that supports it.

Samantha Rose
For more than 10 years, Sami Rose has been dedicated to giving dogs a second chance through rescue. Her passion for animal welfare is at the heart of everything she does, and she believes every dog deserves to be loved, safe, and part of a family. As Director of Operations at Wilder Souls Rescue, Sami is committed to supporting every step of the rescue journey and advocating for the dogs who need it most.
